Gymnasium Programs

Pierce County Parks and Recreation conducts their adult pickle ball program, adult volleyball leagues, Jazzercise, youth basketball leagues, youth indoor soccer program, and our Tiny Tots indoor playground in the gym year around.

  • Adult Pickle Ball Drop-In Program

    Pickle ball players of all ages and abilities are welcome to participate in a drop-in program held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday morning from 8:00 a.m. to 12 noon. Up to six courts are available for singles and doubles play for a nominal fee of $3 per day. Annual participants cards may also be purchased for $100, which provides unlimited play throughout the year. Drop by with your paddle in hand ready to play.
  • Open Badminton Program

    Hosted by the Tacoma Badminton Club, badminton meets at the gym Monday nights from 7:30 p.m.. to 10 p.m. This program is for all ages and badminton players of skill levels from beginning to advanced are welcome to participate. A nominal fee of $4 per person is charged to cover court fees and shuttlecocks. Instruction and rackets are available at no extra charge. For more information call (253) 272-9883.
  • Jazzercise

    Jazzercise is a pulse-pounding, beat-pumping fitness program that gets you results…fast. It’s a calorie-torching, hip swiveling dance party with a hot playlist to distract you from the burn. Each high-energy class includes a warm up, aerobic segment, muscle toning, flexibility exercise, and a cool down. Classes offered Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 5:45-6:45 p.m. and Saturday mornings from 9-10 a.m. Try Jazzercise with a $10 one time walk-in fee or pay monthly. All fees paid to instructor.
