Staff makes holiday season brighter for Pierce County families
The Prosecutor’s Office helped make the holiday season brighter for low-income families in Pierce County by putting presents under the tree. From shopping, to wrapping, to filling the delivery truck, volunteers were sharing the holiday spirit. This season, staff “adopted” a total of 80 individuals – moms, dads and kids – living in transitional housing at the Catholic Community Services of Western Washington’s Family Housing Network.
Family Housing Network provides a place to live for families that are experiencing, or are at risk of, homelessness, while helping to build skills that maximize family stability and self-sufficiency, in order to prevent future homelessness. For more information, visit CCSWW.org.
