Department Responsibilities
The Budget and Finance Department is responsible for financial planning, management of revenues and expenditures, preparation of financial reports and other related fiscal operations of Pierce County government.
The department also serves as treasurer to numerous outside taxing districts. To facilitate effective management of these responsibilities, the department is organized into five divisions:
- Accounting
