District Court limits public counter hours

In response to continuing budget reductions, Pierce County District Court will be limiting the Civil/Infraction Division's public counter hours.

Starting Sept. 1, the public counters at the Civil/Infraction Division, will be open from 9 a.m. to noon and again from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. The Civil/Infraction Division is located at 1902 96th Street South in Tacoma.

The walk-up window will be open from noon to 1:30 p.m. with limited service including payments of infractions and tolls, and hearing scheduling. There will be no civil or small claims services during this time.

We sincerely regret this disruption in service and highly value the importance of public access to the court. We hope this notice will decrease any inconvenience.
