Roads, sewers and other public works topics get the spotlight when the Pierce County Council's hearings on the 2010 county budget continue today.
Public Works and Utilities Director Brian Ziegler and his staff will close out the first full week of Committee of the Whole hearings beginning at 9 a.m. when they address sewers, stormwater and the Chamber Creek Properties ? including the Chambers Bay Golf Course. Ziegler will return to cover roads, ferries and airports at 1:30 p.m.
Check the Committee of the Whole schedule for a complete list of remaining hearings. All will be in the Council Chambers (930 Tacoma Ave. S., Room 1045, Tacoma) and are broadcast live on Pierce County TV (channel 22) and at www.piercecountytv.org.
