Disaster Medical Control Center
1. Determination and coordination of patient disposition.
2. Coordination with base station hospitals and receiving centers to ensure the Base Station concept is operational.
3. Coordination of hospital resource inventories, including, but not limited to personnel, supplies, communications capabilities, bed space and pharmaceutical supplies.
4. Coordination with base station hospitals and receiving centers on the collection of assessment information after an event, including, but not limited to the status of facilities, personnel, supplies and equipment.
5. Coordination of requests from the field for additional medical supplies.
6. Coordination of requests from the field for additional doctors and nurses.
7. Network control for inter-hospital communications capabilities.
8. Coordination with the Pierce County Emergency Operations Center (EOC), if it is activated.
