Other Training Available:

FEMA Independent Study: Within the Department of Homeland Security, the Federal Emergency Management Agency, United States Fire Administration, operates the Emergency Management Institute (EMI). EMI offers more than forty independent study courses to train the general public as well as specific target audiences. All materials on this Internet site are available to anyone who can access them. However, official enrollment in the courses, scoring of final exams, issuance of certificates, and maintenance of student records is limited to United States (US) citizens with a US deliverable postal address including APO and FPO addresses.

Clover Park Technical College Emergency Management Degree: Emergency Management course work prepares a student to make decisions, problem solve, communicate effectively, and coordinate all sources necessary for preparedness, mitigation, response and recovery/continuity for any possible disaster. This program will assist the student in preparing for a position with public or private sector agencies and organizations responsible for preparedness planning and managing of any type of life-threatening or property-threatening incident or disaster.
