"Resolution No. 498 concerns a proposition for bonds. Proposition No. 1 would authorize the District to upgrade, renovate and expand classrooms and school facilities, restrooms, plumbing and electrical systems, make health and safety improvements, construct new classrooms, provide computers and modern technology, and make other capital improvements, to finance such projects by issuing up to $38,400,000 of general obligation bonds maturing within a maximum term of 30 years, and to levy annually an excess property tax on all taxable property within the District to repay such bonds. |
