The Pierce County Auditor's Office is pleased to accommodate the citizens of Pierce County with their passport application needs.
Apply for your passport and have your picture taken in one easy location. Remember - Apply early for your Passport. Passport processing time is 4-6 weeks for routine service and 3 weeks for expedited service. Please refer to www.travel.state.gov for current processing time for Pasports.
Renewal and/or amendment forms are available (for you to complete and mail yourself)
Must bring valid drivers license and a certified copy of your birth certificate, or a previous US Passport. If you are a Naturalized Citizen please bring in your Certificate of Citizenship. No photocopies or hospital certificates will be accepted. Valid ID cards accepted with five or more supporting forms of identification.
Two payments are required. - A check or money order for the passport fee to Passport Services. - Check, money order or cash for agent fee and photos to Pierce County Auditor.
Please leave checks blank until time of processing.

The Auditors office is located in the Pierce County Annex /Public Services Building at 2401 S. 35th St. Room 200, Tacoma WA 98409.
Hours of operation: 8:30am-4:30pm Monday through Friday, (except holidays).
