Answer:
Yes, you can use your credit cards to pay your property taxes
(ONLINE ONLY or via phone
253-798-3333.)


To pay your Property Taxes with your Visa, MasterCard, Discover card, American Express Card or by E-Check payment, simply log onto the Assessor-Treasurer's website.

NOTE:
1. When using a credit card to pay taxes, a fee of 2.5% of the tax owed will be added to your total.
2. Credit cards can only be used to pay current taxes.
3. Persons with delinquent accounts will not be allowed to pay by credit card.
4. Delinquent amounts owed must be paid in person or by mail.

I mailed my property tax statement over two weeks ago. When will my payment be reflected on your website?

Answer:
All mailed property tax statements are processed by the Pierce County Budget and Finance Department.

Payments are reflected on the website immediately upon posting to your account. However, longer processing times can be expected during the months of April/May and October/November.

A stale dated warrant is an unredeemed warrant which was issued more than six months prior to the current date. A stale dated warrant is expired and the original instrument is no longer negotiable.
