Meadows

Located in the middle of the Chambers Creek Properties, Central Meadow is 22 acres in size with parking for 84 cars. A new restroom facility serves both trail users and other visitors to the site. An 11-acre lawn can be used for passive recreation and as a staging area for large events such as golf tournaments and community festivals. The meadow also has a half-mile loop trail on its south and west sides which links to the Soundview Trail. Native grasses are used extensively throughout Central Meadow in combination with hundreds of native shore pines and other trees.

North Meadow

Located on the northern portion of the Chambers Creek Properties near 48th Street West and Grandview Drive West, North Meadow is 6 acres in size with parking for 38 cars. Access to the parking lot is from a new one-way entrance and exit off of Grandview Drive West. A new restroom facility will serve both trail users and visitors to the meadow. Visitors have excellent views to Puget Sound and the Chambers Bay Golf Course from a lookout at the west end of the meadow. The panoramic views to the south and west provide spectacular opportunities to view sunsets over Anderson and McNeil Islands.
