MISCELLANEOUS CONTRACTS

GENERAL:

Miscellaneous contracts are those funding allocations set forth in the county's Miscellaneous Current Expense Budget or other budget sections that are assigned to the division for management and administration. The division is not involved in the process of selection of these activities, they are selected either by the Executive's office or by individual Council Members. When the budget is approved in November, the division in conjunction with the Budget & Finance Dept., determines which of the activities will be assigned to the division. The division then contacts the recipient and works with them to develop a contract work-scope, timeline, and performance measures.

ELIGIBILITY:

There are no eligibility requirements relating to these activities.

APPLICATION PROCESS:

There is no application process relating to these activities. Contact your Councilmember for more details.

ANNUAL CALENDAR OF EVENTS:

There is no annual calendar of events other than shortly after the County Budget is approved in November, the division will contact the intended recipient as noted above. Upon development and approval of the contract the division will authorize the recipient to commence implementation of the contract. All work is to be complete no later than December 31 of the funding year.

CURRENT APPROVED ACTIVITIES:

The 2009 allocations have not been published yet.
