By the beginning of 2006, a total of 48 separate jurisdictions had signed a Letter of Agreement with Pierce County Department of Emergency Management for Hazard Mitigation Planning. In an effort to make the best use of the time allotted to us, and due to the magnitude of the planning to be accomplished, we divided the list into four likely categories. As of April 2008 the Region 5 Hazard Mitigation Plan has been sent to Washington State Emergency Management Division for their pre-adoption review. The following documents represent the most current version of the jurisdiction sections.
