In response to continuing budget reductions, and in agreement with AFSCME Local 120, the Court will be implementing three furlough days for court employees on the following days:

• Monday, October 12, 2009
  
• Thursday, November 12, 2009
  
• Thursday, December 24, 2009
  

On these days, the Court will hold only in-custody arraignment hearings and will not operate for purposes of public payments, filings or other related matters. This action will involve all divisions of the Court, including Probation.

We sincerely regret this disruption in service, and highly value the importance of public access to the Court. We hope this notice will decrease any inconvenience to the public on these particular days between now and the end of the year.
