Metropolitan Development Council Government Contracting Assistance (MDC)
Government contracting assistance is designed to assist companies in receiving contracts with federal agencies. MDC oversees the 'Bid Match' program which notifies companies of opportunities to compete for federal contracts and provides additional counseling regarding federal procurement. A procurement specialist at MDC can help your business get signed up to begin marketing and respond to requests from the Federal Government for your products and services. Interested in learning more, give the MDC a call at 591-7026. Also ask about their free orientation sessions for businesses held on the second and fourth Tuesday's of each month.

Pierce County bidders list - You may consider adding your company to the County bidders list. This list is used in notifying businesses when a bid arises within a business' area of interest. The list also helps County departments identify businesses with products and/or services that may match their needs. Small Works Roster - If you're a contractor interested in bidding on County jobs under $200,000, now is a great time to contact our purchasing department and ask to be added to the roster. This unique program includes a rotational roster and allows the County to contact contractors directly about projects going out to bid when their field of work is involved.
