Cases are continued (set over) because of the difficulty in coordinating courtroom space, attorney, witness and judge's availability as well as time needed to complete investigations and obtain results of forensic testing. We understand that delays are a frustrating part of the process, but cannot always be anticipated. We strive to inform you as soon as possible of any delays that may occur. We request that all witnesses call our office prior to coming to the courthouse to confirm the time, date and location of the proceedings.
