Parks and Recreation Citizens' Advisory Board

This nine-member board meets monthly to advise the Parks & Recreation Department concerning its general operations, capital projects, as well as the needs and interest of the citizens of the community.

The Board also assists the County in identifying funding sources and securing funding for the County's Parks and Recreation programs. The Board takes an active role in communicating park and recreation needs, services, and programs to the public governmental agencies, the Executive, and the Council.

We are accepting applications to fill four vacancies on the Parks and Recreation Citizens' Advisory Board.

Applicants should have an interest in a variety of parks and recreation issues and must reside in Pierce County.
