Pierce County Fox Island Fishing Pier

1453 Ozette Drive, Fox Island

The 'Fox Island Concrete Pier' is a great fishing spot, located on the Eastern tip of Fox Island.

This unique fishing pier was built by the Department of Fishing and Wildlife and managed by the Pierce County Parks Department.

Fox Island Fishing Pier

Comprising a beautiful accessible fishing dock with paved pathway and handrails for safety in a picturesque setting. Plenty of parking is available. There is a small fee required for this day use site.

Volunteer Park Host

Positions are available as month long terms; not more than two consecutive months, year-round. Park Host will receive full utility hook-up.

The responsibility of a Park Host is:

Open and secure facilities
Collect and deposit fees
Clean restrooms
Litter detail
Minor maintenance
Serve as a visible presence at the park site.

Directions to Fox Island:

Follow the signs from SR-16 to Fox Island.
Cross the Fox Island bridge, and follow Island Blvd. to 9th Avenue and turn right.
Take the next left on Kamus.
Veer right on Mowitsh Dr. and follow to 14th.
Turn right and follow to the end of the road, where you will find the gate and parking lot.
