There, a paved path winds toward a gazebo and the sandy-rock beach. Two telescopes provide beach and bridge buffs alike an up-close view of the bridge and new construction.

The 2003-2004 renovations at Narrows Park were a year-long collaborative effort between WSDOT, Pierce County Parks and Recreation, and Tacoma Narrows Constructors.
