Bond Rating Improves to AA Status:
The Pierce County Sewer Utility's bond rating has been upgraded from AA- to AA by Standard & Poors, foremost provider of independent financial ratings and indices.
A higher bond rating translates into a lower cost of borrowing money from capital markets. Pierce County will save money on capital improvement projects by being eligible to borrow funds at a lower interest rate.
