Word on the street: Improvements to Military Road East / Reservoir Road East
What's Happening
We're widening Military Road East from 133rd Street Court East to 350' north of Reservoir Road East (CRP 5514). Improvements, designed to improve traffic flow, include:
- Widening Military Road East to one lane in each direction and a two-way left-turn lane.
- Adding a traffic signal at the Military Road East / Reservoir Road East intersection.
- Adding left turn lanes on Military Road East and an east bound right turn lane on Reservoir Road East to Military Road East.
- Adding an enclosed storm drain system to connect to the new stormwater treatment facility at Military Road East / 136th Street East.
- Adding concrete curbs, gutters, sidewalks, and retaining walls at select locations.
This project will connect to another project (recently completed) that widened and realigned Military Road East in the vicinity of 136th Street East.
