Improvements to Woodland Avenue East / 128th Street East

What's Happening

We're improving the intersection at Woodland Avenue East/128th Street East. These improvements are designed to relieve traffic congestion and enhance safety. These improvements include:

Adding a left-turn lane in each direction.
Adding concrete curbs, gutters, and sidewalks.
Adding an enclosed storm drain system as well as enhancing existing stormwater treatment and storage facilities.
Adding a new traffic signal.

Engineering: Plans are complete.
Land: Right-of-way acquisition is complete.
Contract Administration: The contract bid opening was held on Friday, July 25, 2008 and the contract was awarded to Tucci & Sons, Inc. on August 15, 2008.

What's the schedule?

July 2008: Finalize permits, environmental documents, plans, and estimates. Advertise for bids.
Summer 2008: Begin construction.

What were the Contract bids?
