The Field Engineering Division coordinates various in-the-field functions for our Transportation projects.

Bridge Engineering

Designs and inspects all bridges in unincorporated Pierce County
Provides design and construction engineering support for the construction and repair of the County's Ferry landings

Survey and Mapping

Surveys and develops base maps for all transportation projects, maintains important geographical data.
Oversees the Franchised Utility process.

Construction Engineering

Oversees and inspects the construction of all County tranportation projects.
