The Pierce County Bike Map is intended to serve as a guide for bicyclists traveling to major centers, tourist attractions, and other key destinations within Pierce County. It identifies existing bikeways and scheduled bicycle improvements, but does not include future bicycle projects. The bike map focuses on on-road bikeways (e.g. roads with wide lanes, paved shoulders and designated bicycle lanes) and paved shared-use trails.
The new bike map is now available. It is a free publication and can be picked up at several locations. Soon a printer-friendly online version will be available too.
