Our shelves are piled high with activities that take environmental lessons outside the classroom setting. Games, crafts, kits and more are available for students of all ages. These activities are perfect for after-school clubs, summer camps and other gatherings. Our staff will bring all the materials and lead the activities. All resources are free.

  • Stuff-a-fish: create a 3-D fish mobile.
  • Twig books: build a book using recycled paper and twings.
  • Rain stick: make a rain stick and learn about the rain stick fable.
  • Water cycle: use sand, water, and a plastic bag to make your own water cycle.

  • Sockeye Scents (Grades 3-8): discover a salmon's unique way of finding its home stream.
  • Incredible Journey (Grades 3-8): see how the water 'cycle' is actually more like a water 'web.'
  • Hooks & Ladders (Grades 3-8): become a salmon and learn how to navigate your way downstream and back up again, despite incredible odds.
  • Maco Mayhem (Grades 3-8): learn about the invertebrates that live in our streams.
