Washington's Electronic Recycling Program:

Effective January 1, 2009 a new Washington State law requires manufacturers to provide free electronic recycling for computers (desktop & laptop), TVs and computer monitors.

  • A list of Pierce County locations accepting FREE electronics will be added to this website on or after January 2.
  • The information is not available until January 1, and our office is closed that day for the New Year's holiday.
  • The locations listed below currently accept electronics for a fee.

Visit the Washington State Department of Ecology's website for more information.
