Items accepted in the yardwaste container include:

grass clippings, leaves, weeds, brush, branches smaller than four inches in diameter, and Christmas trees, in season.

Items NOT accepted:

  • food
  • food-contaminated paper (including pizza boxes)
  • garbage
  • stumps
  • demolition
  • wood
  • sheet rock
  • asphalt
  • bricks
  • concrete
  • glass
  • metal
  • plastics
  • flower pots
  • animal waste
  • ash
  • rocks
  • sod
  • bones
  • oil or any other hazardous materials.
  • Large amounts of dirt will also not be accepted

Instructions:

  • Yardwaste must fit in the container with the lid closed.
  • Call your hauler for instruction if you have excess yardwaste.
  • NEVER set out yardwaste in a plastic bag, it will not be collected.


Contact your hauler to sign up for curbside yardwaste recycling service.

Your hauler will provide you with a 90-gallon wheeled cart, which they will collect from your home every-other-week.
