If you have constructed a storm drainage system to control the stormwater runoff from your developed property, and the system is properly constructed and maintained, you should consider applying for a credit. Participation in the credit program can reduce SWM Utility fees by as much as 85%.

To receive a reduction of SWM fees, the applicant must:

  • Make application by October 1st to reduce the following year's fees. Applications must be received no later than October 1st.
  • Submit approved plans and calculations for the site's drainage system.
  • Certify that the system is constructed and functioning as designed.
  • Perform the required maintenance to keep the system functional.
