If you have constructed a storm drainage system to control the stormwater runoff from your developed property, and the system is properly constructed and maintained, you should consider applying for a credit. Participation in the credit program can reduce SWM Utility fees by as much as 85%.

To receive a reduction of SWM fees, the applicant must:

Make application by October 1st to reduce the following year's fees. Applications must be received no later than October 1st.
Submit approved plans and calculations for the site's drainage system.
Certify that the system is constructed and functioning as designed.
Perform the required maintenance to keep the system functional.

Credit Re-certification

Your re-certification notice will be mailed to you in August by the SWM billing department. If you do not receive your notice, please call the SWM billing department at 253-798-4020.
