The LID Implementation Workshop is intended for developers, contractors, plan reviewers, and site and building inspectors wishing to learn more about the implementation of low impact development techniques. Please join us at the La Quinta Inn in Tacoma as we learn about how to advance the use of LID in Pierce County and the Puget Sound region.

This half-day workshop will include an introduction to LID codes and standards and an evaluation of LID system performance. Presentations will also address issues of building market demand for low impact development and will highlight examples from around Puget Sound. Confirmed speakers include Art Castle (Kitsap Home Builders Association), David Hymel (Nisqually River Council), and Dennis Hanberg (APEX Engineering). This workshop is the second of three LID events sponsored by Pierce County Surface Water Management.

Registration and additional information about the LID Implementation Workshop can be found by following the links below. If you have any questions about this event, please contact Lorin Reinelt at (253) 798-3096 or lreinel@co.pierce.wa.us.
