The Puyallup Watershed Low Impact Development (LID) Conference is intended for watershed, stormwater and water resource managers and planners, consultants, developers, contractors, permit reviewers, elected officials, citizens, non-profit organizations and students wishing to learn more about low impact development. Please join us on the Pierce College - Puyallup campus as we learn about how low impact development (LID) is currently being implemented in the Puyallup River Watershed and the Puget Sound region.

This one-day conference will include an introduction to a number of specific LID techniques, as well as discussion of some of the challenges associated with implementation and maintenance. Presentations will also address issues of building market demand for low impact development and will highlight examples from around Puget Sound. Confirmed speakers include Bruce Wulkan (Puget Sound Partnership), Curtis Hinman (WSU - Pierce County Extension), Tiffany Speir (Master Builders Association of Pierce County), and Peg Staeheli (SvR Design Company).
