The Chambers-Clover Watershed Conference is intended for watershed and water resource managers, scientists, consultants, water purveyors, lake associations, elected officials, citizen groups, community leaders, nonprofit organizations and students wishing to learn more about the functioning and management of the Chambers-Clover Creek watershed. Please join us at Pacific Lutheran University as we consider the past, current and future conditions of our unique watershed, as well as how best to move forward on key water resources management issues.
Conference events will take place over two days. Friday, October 5th, will consist of technical presentations on topics such as current hydrologic conditions and management efforts by local agencies. Saturday, October 6th, will include a brief overview of the previous day's technical presentations but will focus primarily on stewardship and involvement opportunities for landowners and interested citizens. The conference will conclude with a field trip, refreshments and ground breaking ceremony in celebration of the new Pierce County Naches Trail Preserve.
