The Pierce County Law Library is a public library established under RCW 27.24 to provide legal information services to the general public, to the judiciary, attorneys, and to state and county officials.

The Library's collection includes Federal and state codes, court decisions, and practice-oriented materials for use in court or in daily legal matters.

Library staff provide reference assistance to help locate and use Library materials, whether in a book, computer, or on the internet.

The Library will not perform any service which might constitute the practice of law. We do not interpret case law or statutes,assist with the completing of forms, or advise patrons about specific legal problems.
