Sprinker Recreation Center Classic Car Show

Pierce County Parks and Recreation will hold the seventh annual Northwest Cars & Trucks Magazine Classic Car Show at Sprinker Recreation Center in Spanaway, Washington on Saturday, September 19, 2009 from 10:00am-3:00pm.

This year's event will be Showboatin' it VEGAS STYLE!' The staff is currently working hard to bring you an improved event. They have secured ON-SITE breakfast (provided by the youth skating club) for all the early birds who enjoy parking at 7:00 am, socializing and drinking coffee while you watch the rest of the classics arrive.

Sound Sensational will serve as this years DJ and announcer. There will be additional car related vendors, an espresso cart on site, a live band performing at various times, prize give-aways, and much, much more.

Pre-register your classic car or truck (pre-1980 models) by Sept. 14 for only $15 or day of show registration will be available for $20. Souvenir T-shirts may be pre-ordered by September 14 with your entry for just $10. To register call Sprinker Recreation Center at 253-798-4000.

Day of event registration for participants begins at 7:00am followed by judging at 10:00am and the award presentation at 2:00pm. Dash plaques, goodie bags and Domino's lunch (on site) are included for the first 300 entries.

Gates open for spectators at 10:00 am with FREE admission for all ages.

From the North/South:
From I-5, take exit 127 following the Mt. Rainier/Puyallup signs to Highway 512 going east. Take the second exit (Parkland/Spanaway-Pacific Ave) and at the stop light turn right onto Pacific Avenue (SR 7). Head south for 2.7 miles then turn right on Military Road (152nd St). Sprinker Center is 1 1/2 blocks down on the right.

From the East:
Go west on Highway 512.
Take the Mt. Rainier/Hiway 7 exit and follow the off ramp around to your left. At the stoplight turn left onto Pacific Avenue. Go south on Pacific Avenue for 2.7 miles and turn right on Military Road (152nd St.) Sprinker Center is 1 1/2 blocks down on the right.
