WHAT IS HOUSE HOCKEY?
Like many youth atheletic programs your child will have an opportunity to play this sport at many different competitive levels. In hockey, a house program is typically for those athletes that either choose to play the sport at a recreational level or thier skill level is in the beginner/intermediate stage. The House Level is the least expensive level of play and for the most part does not include travel to other facilities for games. Due to our status with USA Hockey this season our teams will only play other teams in the PCMH program for the 2008-2009 season. All teams will be assigned a Head Coach. All games will be officiated by USA Hockey registered Officials. Stats and statistics will be gathered throughout the season for players and families to congratulate each other at the end of the season. If your child has already been a part of our Hockey 101 program then they are ready to take part in this fun and exciting hockey season!

HOW LONG IS THE SEASON? What will be my child's practice and game schedule?
The PCMH season will run from October 6th through March 29th. This is a 20 week practice and game schedule which may include a mini-tournament at the end of week 20 if no make-up games are needed. PCMH will take November 24-30, December 22-January 4, and February 16-22 off due to holiday conflicts.

Mite: (2) two shared ice practices week Mon(pm)/Sun(am) or Fri(pm)/Sun(am) depending on your team. This player must be at least 4 1/2 years of age and not to exceed 8 years of age.

Squirt:(1) one full ice & (1) shared ice practice week Mon(pm)/Thurs(pm) or Tues(pm)/Thurs(pm) depending on your team. This player must be at least 9 years of age and not to exceed 12 years of age. It will be understood that players older than 10 years of age will be playing down and will not be able to play teams outside the PCMH 'house' program at this level.

All season games will be on Saturdays between 1:00pm - 6:00pm; games will be (1) one hour in length. You will be assigned to a team based on age/ability to insure all teams are equally matched for balanced play throughout the season. Please do not ask us to move your child based on schedules as we will not be able to accommodate everyone with these requests.
