Messy Time - It's wonderful to be messy! Have fun exploring the joy of art using different themes and materials each week. Come dressed for a mess. Parents will stay to participate.

Alphabet Soup - You guessed it - this class is all about learning the ABC's. Each week we will focus on two letters. Through show & tell, art projects, songs, games, rhymes, and movement, we will learn the alphabet together.

Antique Halloween Art Doll - Join doll artist, Patricia Hedegaard as she shares wonderful techniques and shortcuts on how to create Halloween Posing Art Dolls using polymer clay and armature wire. Make whimsical, one of a kind, original wicked witches, or pumpkin head dolls as fantastic gifts or to add to your collection. Supplies for sculpting, real mohair and wool for hair, painting and tools included.

Kids Get Cookin'

Try one or all four of these cooking classes, as each one will introduce and teach participants about working with this type of food. Also included in each session will be basics about kitchen safety, cleanliness, nutrition, and table manners.

Tiny Tots Dance - Capture your child's creativity as we dance and move together. We'll use fun props each week as we practice basic dance steps. This class will help your child learn coordination, listening skills,loco-motor movements, and social skills.

Tot Trot - Boys and girls will discover basic movement and explore how their bodies move as they practice basic ballet, jazz and rhythmic dance. Get ready to move about and discover the different ways your body can wiggle! Students should wear shorts or leotards and soft soled shoes or ballet slippers.

Creative Movement - This class introduces children to the fun of ballet and music with pre-ballet movement and streching. Classes include learning as we use our bodies when talking about shapes, alphabet, counting, rhyming and more. Attire: Pink tights, pink leather ballet shoes, black or pink leotard. Ballet skirts are allowed - no tutus please.

Dance & Creative Movement - Mingle and make friends while learning new dance moves. A variety of dance genres will be taught from jazz, basic ballet and
rhythmic dance! Students should wear shorts or leotards and soft soled shoes or ballet slippers.

Beginning Ballet - Ballet will be introduced with a focus on proper technique, posture, and fun! Students will be learning basic ballet steps and terminogy, as well as, an introduction to counting music. Older age group will learn posture and technique. Students will have opportunities to explore the ways steps can be combined to make new steps and dances. Attire: Pink shoes, pink tights, black leotard. No skirts or tutus please.

  • Ages 9-14 - Tuesdays, 5:45-6:45 pm

Intermediate Ballet - This level is designed for the dancer who has some experience in a formal ballet class. Steps will gradually become harder, and new steps will be learned while continuing to work on proper technique and placement. Attire: Pink tights, pink leather ballet shoes, black leotard. No skirts or tutus.

Hip Hop - Students will learn hip hop moves each class. Basic jazz and hip hop steps will be used to form fun routines. Don't miss out on this one! Students should wear shorts or sweats and comfortable non-marking soled shoes.

NEW

Young Ladies and Gentleman - Children rarely beg for the opportunity to attend a class on manners, and yet it is the key to building positive friendships and strong self-esteem. This fun hands-on workshop teaches telephone etiquette, basic table manners, introductions, personal care and posture. Each student receives a ?goodie bag? to take home. Don?t be surprised if they come out asking for more!

Starting Point - Guys and gals, overcome the anxieties about ?how do I look, what do I say, and what do I do?, in this fun, fast paced, interactive course. Topics include first impressions, presentation skills, introductions, posture, appearance tips, and manners for movies, shopping and dining. Never again will you wonder how to correctly eat a french fry!

Looking Good - Learn the correct techniques to achieve a beautiful and natural look. Discover the secrets of having a great complexion and the role proper nutrition plays, while pampering yourself with a full facial and manicure. You will also be introduced to clothing personality, warm and cool coloring, body types and budgeting. This package, along with proper posture, is a power communicator and you will see why.

Tae Kwon Do - Designed to teach self discipline, confidence, agility, balance and effective means of defense. An excellent exercise for body conditioning and stamina. Traditional Korean-style Karate and Tae Kwon Do techniques are coupled with Hapkido, a discipline incorporated self-defense techniques. This program will include Olympic style, traditional weapons and boxing training. Taught by career instructors with multiple years of experience.

Guitar Classes

Mini Mozart Music - This is a wonderful introduction to movement and music. Each
week we?ll explore rhythm and language as we sing and dance together. Children will
love this energetic class.Parents stay to participate.

Mini Movers - Parent and child will play together in this lively and fun class. Songs, dance, music, and games make this the perfect class for toddlers. Emphasis is placed on friendship and fun.

Beginning Guitar- Learn to play the guitar! Learn introductory notereading skills and simple chords so that the class can play songs together. Bring your own guitar, no electric guitars.

Little Athletes - Calling all energetic pre-schoolers ? here's the class for you! Come to this fun and movin' class where you will play and learn a new sport each week. We focus on team work and good sportsmanship. The instructor has a degree in Physical Education with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education.

Toe, Tap & Tumble Classes - These dance and movement combination classes will cover beginner and intermediate ballet exercises, tap dancing skills and a progression of gymnastic tumbling. The programs will develop each youngster's flexibility, balance and total body coordination. Students should wear shorts or leotard, tap or hard-soled shoes and soft ballet slippers.

Puget Sound Gymnastics Program -

Introduction to developmental gymnastics through basic tumbling. Clases will focus on strength, flexibility, body awareness and having fun with movement. This is a great foundation for fitness as a way of life from Puget Sound Gymnastics, an internationally competitive school.
