Adult Winter Basketball
Games are played at the Lakewood Community Center Monday-Friday and Sundays.
- Registration begins November 5, 2007
- Winter League deadline is Thursday, December 7, 2007 if room is still available.
- Winter League plays begins first week of January 2008.
- Length of league is 10 games.
- League fees/Divisions:
- $529 per team for Open
- $529 per team for 6' & Under
- $529 per team for Women
- $400 per team for Half Century

Open Badminton - Hosted by the Tacoma Badminton Club, badminton players can play on Mondays from 7:30-9:30 p.m. in the Lakewood Community Center. The fee is only $4.00 per person. Rackets are available as well as instruction. Adults and children of all skill levels are welcome to participate. Call (253)272-9883 for additional information.

Open Pickleball - Pickleball players of all ages and abilities are welcome to participate in the drop-in program held every Monday, Wednesday and Friday mornings at the Lakewood Community Center from 7:30-10:00am. Up to six courts are available for singles and doubles play for a nominal fee of $2.00 per day. Annual individual participant's cards may also be purchased for $50.00, which provides unlimited play throughout the year.

Adult Men Fall Flag Football - Teams will play with 6 players on a modified 80 yard field with an intermediate size football. Blocking and contact are not allowed. Teams will play 6 regular season games and the top four teams will advance to the playoffs. Winner of the league will qualify for the WRPA State flag football touranment.
- Fall League fee is $500/team
- Games are played at Herigate Park in South Hill Puyallup
- 6 games played on Tuesdays/Thursdays
- League starts midy September and ends mid November
- Register your team July 7-August 22, 2008 at the Parks Admin Offices in the Lakewood Community Center

Fall League
Men's, Women's, and Co-Rec leagues are available. League play begins the first week of August and will last approximately 6 weeks. All games are played at Sprinker Recreation Center , Heritage Recreation Center, and Gonyea Park. Both single games and doubleheaders will be used.
- League includes 12 games
- Fall league fees are $548/team. League fees include a dozen softballs and USSSA team registration.
- Register your team June 23-July 18, 2008. All fees due at time of registration.
Register June 23-July 7 and receive a $30.00 discount off league fees.
Teams can register at the Parks Department office in Lakewood, Monday -Friday between 8:00 am-5:00 pm.
- League entry deadline is July 18, 2008 if there is still room available.
- League is limited to the first 80 teams.
- Coaches meeting is July 29, 2008 at the Lakewood Community Center, 6:30-7:00 p.m.

Half Century Fall Slowpitch League - For men 55 and over; Women 40 and over. League play is September 4-27, 2007.
- Games are played at Sprinker Recreation Center.
- Entry deadline is August 8, 2008 at 5:00 p.m.
- Fall League fee is $230.00 per team plus $7.00 per player. Players are responsible for their own bats and practice balls.

Spring/Summer Slowpitch
Men's, Women's, Co-Ed, Church, and Half Century leagues are available. Games are played at Sprinker Recreation Center, Heritage Recreation Center, and Gonyea Park.
- Register your team March 3-April 4, 2008. All fees due at time of registration. Register March 3-14 and receive a $30.00 discount off league fees.

- Pre-season Tournament is $50/team. 3 game guarantee, played specific nights March 23-April 27. Umpire fees of $12/game in cash on the field to the umpire. Deadline for Pre-season entry is March 14, 2008.

Half Century Slowpitch League

5 on 5 on 5 Slowpitch Softball
Each team has five players. It takes three teams, of five to make it work! Team A starts with four of their players in the outfield and one as a pitcher. Team B starts with four of their players playing the infield and one as a catcher. Team C starts with their five players batting. From there it isplayed just like any other game. Each team gets three outs for a total of nine outs to complete the inning.
The game is five innings and the batters start with one ball-one strike. Teams will play two games a night.The winner gets two points, second gets one point and the loser gets no points.

- Senior Rec - plays on Tues
- Men's E-Rec - plays on Wed
- Women's E / E-Rec - plays on Thur
- Coed E / E-Rec - plays on Sun

2008 Skiing/Snowboarding at Snowqualmie Summit
- 6 week program January-February 2008
- Youths and Adults:
- Ages 4-9 with adult supervision
- Ages 10 and older to ride the bus.
- Lessons provided by Alpine West Ski & Snowbaord School.
- Packages are available with and without transportation.
- Fees do not include lift tickets.

- League plays: mid October and runs through mid December.

Spring Whiffle Ball
Whiffle Ball Tournament March 21-23, 2008 Lakewood Community Center
- Games:
- Friday 7:30-11:30 pm
- Saturday 3:00-11:00 pm and
- Sunday 11:00 am-9:00 pm if the tournament is full.
- Entry Fee: $75, Double Elimination Tournament
- Teams: Maximum 12 teams.
- Deadline: Friday, March 7th or before if full. (First come, first served basis - No exceptions)
- Awards: Team and individual trophies for 1st place. Team trophy for 2nd place.
