| League Games |
League includes 10 games weather permitting. Two games are scheduled weekly Mon-Fri. Games are played at Gonyea Park, Sprinker Recreation Center, and Heritage Recreation Center. |
| Equipment |
Tams are encouraged to provide their own equipment. Pierce County Parks will have a limited supply of bats, balls, helmets, and bases. |
| Coaches Meeting |
June 17, 2009 from 7:30-8:00 pm at Sprinker Recreation Center. Coaches will receive rules, balls, and game schedules. |

Youth Basketball
This is strictly a recreation program. There are no tryouts - everyone plays regardless of ability. There are no league championships, and no win-loss records kept. This is not a program for highly skilled players that have previously played together.
- For boys and girls ages 5-8.
- Practices/games played at the Lakewood Community Center
- 2009 League Games - Saturdays: April 25-June 13
- Fee is $40 per child.
- Fee includes team t-shirt, certificate of participation, player's basketball clinic, and 6-7 games.
- Register Thursday, March 26, 2009, 5:30-6:15 pm at the Lakewood Community Center. Registration forms are available at the Lakewood Community Center the night of registration.
Registration will be limited to the first 240 children who sign up on a first come-first serve basis Registration after the evening signup will be conducted on a space available basis. For more information call Pierce County Parks (253) 798-4091.

Girls Fastpitch League
Competitive and recreational fastpitch leagues for girls will be offered for players ages 10-19. USSSA rules with Park Department modifications will be used. Participating teams in the past have come from Gig Harbor, Puyallup, South Hill, Edgewood, University Place, Lakewood, Summit, Graham, Parkland, Spanaway and Roy.

Youth Indoor Soccer
Boys and girls ages 4-7 Fee is $45.00 per child Lakewood Community Center
This program is offered twice a year during the months of February-April and September-November. This is strictly a recreation program to provide each participant a chance to develop a positive self-image, self-confidence, sportsmanship and physical skills through participating in soccer. There are no tryouts - everyone plays regardless of ability.
Practices/Games are at the Lakewood Community Center.
- Practices are held one evening per week (Mon, Wed, or Fri) at 5:15 pm or 6:15.
- Games are played on Saturdays.
Registration is limited to the first 240 children who sign up on a first come-first serve basis. Registration after the evening dates will be conducted on a space available basis.
- 2009 Fall registration - Wed, September 9, 2009 from 5:30-6:15 p.m.
- 2009 Winter registration - Tues, January 27, 2009 from 5:30-6:15 p.m.

Kidz Love Soccer, Inc. Program
This instructional program will introduce you and your child to the world's most popular game! Learn the skills and techniques to participate with other players in games, at school and on teams. Participants should bring their own knee guards. Taught by Kidz Love Soccer staff.

First time students can learn the basics of skateboarding to safely navigate through Sprinker Recreation Center's expansive skate park. Intermediate instruction will show students how to safely maneuver through the obstacles of the skate park. Helmets are required on ALL participants.

There are no try-outs; everyone plays regardless of ability. This is strictly a recreational program. There are no league championships, and no win/loss records will be kept. Boys and girls will play on the same team. Practices and games will be at Spanaway Park ball fields. Registration will be limited to the first 240 children who sign-up on a first-come, first-served basis.
- For boys and girls ages 5-6
- Evening registration - June 2, 2009
- Practices and games are during the weekdays. Games are played in July.
- Fee is $40 per child.
- Registration forms are available at the Sprinker Center the night of registration.
