Does your child have a love for trucks and large vehicles? Then check out Pierce County's 'Touch-A-Truck' event.

Kids of all ages will love to climb, run around, sit in and even honk horns of many types of trucks and vehicles! Come explore a fire engine, dump trucks, command center, bucket truck, striper, tractor, military vehicles, and so many more.

Join us for this free event on Saturday, September 13 from 10 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Sprinker Recreation Center located on 14824 South 'C' Street in Tacoma.

A special 'no horns' time is scheduled from Noon to 1:00 p.m. for sensory sensitive children.

Truck drivers will be on hand to show off their vehicles representing Pierce County Public Works and Utilities, the Fire Department, Parks and Recreation, Emergency Management and the military. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Prepare for the weather because this event will take place rain or shine.

Big Truck T-shirts will be for sale on the day of the event.

From the North/South:
From I-5, take exit 127 following the Mt. Rainier/Puyallup signs to Highway 512 going east. Take the second exit (Parkland/Spanaway-Pacific Ave) and at the stop light turn right onto Pacific Avenue (SR 7). Head south for 2.7 miles then turn right on Military Road (152nd St). Sprinker Center is 1 1/2 blocks down on the right.
From the East:
Go west on Highway 512. Take the Mt. Rainier/Hiway 7 exit and follow the off ramp around to your left. At the stoplight turn left onto Pacific Avenue. Go south on Pacific Avenue for 2.7 miles and turn right on Military Road (152nd St.) Sprinker Center is 1 1/2 blocks down on the right.
