Surface Water Management Utility fees are currently based on a comprehensive rate study performed in 1997 which identified the operating, maintenance, and construction needs for different areas of Pierce County. Utility rates were set for five different levels of service depending on the the amount of capital expenses (new construction) and whether or not the area contributed to maintenance of the river levee system. |
