Chambers Creek Regional Park is located within the City of University Place, immediately north of the Town of Steilacoom. The park is approximately 20 minutes from Interstate 5.
Sections of Chambers Creek Regional Park Trails Closed July 9, 2018-January 29, 2019.
Crews will replace the roof of the Environmental Services Building and connected structures July 9, 2018 through Jan. 29, 2019. Sections of the Chambers Creek Regional Park trail that runs in front of the Environmental Services Building will be closed during the project. Watch for signs notifying users of the closures. Several sections of the parking lot will be closed for construction staging.
Overhead work will close the front entrance to the Environmental Services Building on July 23. The public will be directed to the rear entrance at the northwest corner of the building during the closure. Motorists should be aware of construction equipment such as forklifts around the work areas.
The project is awarded to Flynn, BEC LP. The work will cost $1.66 million and is paid for using Capital Improvement funds. The building is located at 9850 64th Street West, in University Place.
