Our Regional Trails Plan comprises of a regional system of off-street trails and corridors that links parks, open spaces, significant environmental features, public facilities and areas of interest.
Pierce County Parks and Recreation provides several different types of trails:
Regional multi-use trails that connect communities together and form the spine of the County trail system, like the Foothills National Recreation Trail.
Community network trails that connect parks to schools and other important community destination points, like the Nathan Chapman Trail.
Looped walking trails inside of County Parks that provide safe places for people to exercise and enjoy nature, like the trails at Chambers Creek Regional Park.
