Regular hours for yard waste drop-off resume June 8
Beginning Monday, June 8 yard waste will again be accepted during regular business hours at Pierce County transfer stations (outside of the City of Tacoma).
Yard waste drop-off was limited to three days a week during the Stay Home, Stay Healthy order and Phase 1 of the Safe Start reopening plan. The limitations were in place to reduce the risk of COVID-19 exposure and protect the health of transfer station employees and customers.
Prairie Ridge, 11710 Prairie Ridge Dr. E., Bonney Lake
Yard waste accepted: 8 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Garbage accepted: 11 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.

Cash payments temporarily halted at transfer stations in Pierce County
To further protect employees and the public, transfer stations in Pierce County (outside of Tacoma) will no longer accept cash beginning Wednesday, April 8 until further notice. Major credit cards, including American Express, are accepted at all facilities.
