League Purpose:
This is strictly a recreational coach officiated program. The focus is a safe and positive experience while learning respect, sportsmanship and the basics of outdoor soccer. There are no league championships and no win-loss records will be kept. Everyone plays regardless of ability. Boys and girls play on the same team.
Practices:
Practices are held on weeknights (Monday-Thursday) late September through mid November at Sprinker Recreation Center. Each team will practice one night a week, a practice schedule will be given to each participant as well as be available online.
Games:
Games are played on Saturdays at Sprinker Recreation Center October through mid November. Each team will play six or seven games, weather permitting. Games begin after 9 a.m. A game schedule will be made available online for all participants once the league begins.
Equipment:
Pierce County Parks and Recreation will supply balls, cones and soccer goals at Sprinker Recreation Center. Each participant should supply their own shin guards and cleats.
