New Off Ice Harness Class - Intro To Rotation

For:  Ages 7 & Older - Delta & Above skill level.

Intro to Rotation is an off ice class focused on teaching proper rotational techniques. The class will primarily focus on teaching skaters to create momentum in positions used in freestyle skating levels. This class is suggested to those Delta level or above who are interested in advancing and are at least 7 years of age (unless prior approval by the skating director is given). Learning rotation early builds confidence and body awareness to help the skater advance into learning single, double, triple and quads jumps and mastering the ability to center spins.

Skaters must wear tennis shoes – no loose clothing and long hair must be pulled into a pony tail. Class meets off ice in front of Purple Rectangle/off ice harness. Thicker warm up jacket is recommended.
