About Orting
Orting is one of the Washington's oldest cities, nestled in the foothills of Mt Rainier between the Puyallup and Carbon Rivers.
The city is a quaint turn-of-the-century village featuring tree-filled parks, 15 restaurants and awe-inspiring views of Mount Rainier. Excellent schools and a friendly atmosphere make Orting a great place to raise a family or start a business.
Orting is commercially underserved, has expansion capacity in their water and sewer utilities and has more than 50 acres of land zoned for mixed-use development available adjacent to Highway 162.
