Planning and Public Works and the Tacoma-Pierce County Health Department continue to coordinate our efforts and improve your customer experience.
An update to our online permitting system provides a more detailed application review status comment line for the Health Department. The descriptions on the PALS+ dashboard are now more specific, so you’ll know whether the comment refers to onsite sewage/septic or an individual well/public water.
You’ll see these new status lines right away:
- "Health Dept. – Septic" shows comments for the onsite sewage portion of the review
- "Health Dept. – Water" shows comments for the water or well portion of the review
