No building inspections or plan review on Jan. 21

Building inspections and plan review will not take place on January 21. To prepare for the code changes coming on February 1, our Plans Examiners and Building Inspectors will be attending a 2018 Washington State Energy Code Refresher class.
 
In order to prevent any negative effects to the industry, our team members will be working additional hours leading up to and following the training.
 
The class covers the significant changes to the residential and commercial energy code, which includes a complete overhaul of the energy credits required for a residential project. Attendees include builders, sub-contractors and multiple other jurisdictions.
