We have been working hard  to process the record number of applications received since January and are almost caught up. However, review times may be impacted as daily new submittals continue to be above average.

Over 1,700 applications have been received since January 1, far exceeding the average of 590 submittals per month. This influx was due to the fee changes and code changes that became effective February 1. Our reviewer divisions will continue to address the surge by:

• Working significant hours of overtime
• Implementing third-party review
• Adjusting work priorities/assignments
• And more
