Remembering Crystal Judson
The Crystal Judson Family Justice Center was established ten years ago following Crystal's murder at the hands of her husband. The community came together to grieve and heal, determined to raise awareness of domestic violence in our community and create a place of strength, courage and hope after such a horrific loss.
I invite you to join me on May 5 as we mark the 10th Anniversary of the Center. Special guests include Senator Maria Cantwell and Congressman Derek Kilmer.
Details are in the attached postcard.
I would be remiss if I didn't remind you that domestic violence can happen to anyone of any race, age, sexual orientation, religion or gender. It can happen to couples who are married, living together or who are dating. Domestic violence affects people of all socioeconomic backgrounds and education levels.
